Juvenile News Tue Mar 18th

Our U12B team got off to a good start by beating Kickhams on Sunday last by a point. Our U12A team were beaten by Kickhams but had a tough match. All our U12 teams have matches this weekend. Fixtures and times will be on the home page later in week.

Our U14s play Rockwell/Rosegreen next weekend.

Easter camp dates from Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th April, for U6 to U16 inclusive. Registration forms have gone out through the schools. Please fill in and return to any Club Officer before Thursday 27th March.

Juvenile News Mon 10th Mar

Juveniles: Our U12 A and B teams start off the year in the West Football next Sunday in Clonoulty by playing Knockavilla Kickhams at 10 and 11am.
Our U14s beat Eire Og Annacarty last Saturday in the West Peil Shield. They play Golden in Golden on Tuesday at 7.15pm and Emly/Treacys in Clonoulty next Monday at 10am.

Congratulations to Anna Kennedy on winning the Scor na bpaisti County Final in the solo singing last Sunday.

Juvenile: Our U14s play in the West Peil Shield against Eire Og Annacarty/Donohill this Saturday in Annacarty at 4pm.

Juvenile News Mon Feb 24th

Juvenile: Well done to all who competed in the West Final of Scor na Bpaisti last Sunday. We were entered in four competitions: the Ballad Group, Instrumental Music, Solo Singing and the Table Quiz. Special mention goes to Anna Kennedy on winning the Solo Singing. We would like to wish her the best of luck in the County Final. Thanks also to all does who helped out in getting the children ready for the final.

Juvenile News Mon Feb 17th

Juvenile: We would like to thank all the outgoing officers and mentors whose contribution to the club and all of the teams over the past year has been greatly appreciated. New officers for year 2014 are: Chairman Christy Ryan, Secretary Nolet Ryan L, Vice Chairman Michael Slattery, P.R.O. Jerry Kennedy. Mentors: U16 Declan Ryan, U14 Michael Ryan L, U12 Eamon Ryan, U10 Christy Ryan, U8 Seamus Ryan.
We would like to wish all officers and mentors best wishes for the coming year.

Juvenile A.G.M. on Saturday 18th January in Club House at 8.30pm. Nominations Forms have gone out by email. Also can get them in Joe Hammersleys or Careys Shop. Please have forms returned to Kieran Ryan Juvenile Secretary by Friday 17th.

Juvenile News Mon Dec 2nd

Juvenile: Our Juvenile medal presentation was held last Saturday night in the club house with all our winning teams receiving their medals. Special guests on the night were our own All Ireland winning County Intermediates, John O’ Keeffe, Padraig Heffernan and Thomas Butler. Also our new Senior Manager and winning County Intermediate Selector Michael Ferncombe had a few inspiring words for all. A big thank you to them for making it a special night for our young players.
A special award was given to our U12 County winning management team of Eamon Ryan, Paul Hayes, Patrick Hennessy, Evelyn and Seamus Heffernan for all their great work during the year. Thanks also to those for helping out to make the night a fantastic success.

Scór na bpaistí: A preliminary night will be held for the Scór next Saturday night after mass in the club house at 8:15pm. All primary school children are welcome to participate on the night.

Juvenile News Sun Nov 17th

The West Final of Scór na nÓg takes place in Lattin Hall on Sunday November 24th at 7.30 pm. The County Final is on Friday December 6th in Holycross at 8 pm.

- Competitors must be under 17 on January 1, 2014.

- Please note that this year’s Scór only has 7 categories: Figure dance, Set dance, Solo singing, Recitation, Instrumental music, Ballad group and a Drama category called Léiriú. The Quiz will be run as a separate event at a later date.

Anyone interested in entering any of the above please contact Kieran Ryan Juvenile Secretary.

- Scór na bPáistí for primary school children has proved very popular in the West recently. The County Final will take place in Cashel on Sunday February 16th 2014, with the West Final more than likely on the previous Sunday, February 9th.

Anyone interested in participating let your teacher know or Kieran Ryan Juvenile Secretary.
