Camogie News 28th of August 2016

Seniors: Last weekend the girls beat Annacarty by 3 points.Next match Friday the 2nd of September versus Borrisoleigh in Clonoulty at 8 pm.
Juniors: The girls beat Ballingarry 3-9 to 2-7. Next match Friday the 2nd of September versus Silvermines in Dolla at 6.30 pm.
Minors: The girls played Holycross, no results at time of printing.
U12’s versus Boherlahan in a County Final in the Ragg on Thursday the 1st of September at 7.15 pm. Best of luck girls!

Seniors versus Annacarty in Annacarty on Sat 27th of August at 6.30 pm.
Juniors versus Ballingarry in Clonoulty on Sat 27th of August at 12.00 noon.
Minors: The girls had a good win against Ballingarry. Next match versus Holycross on Tues 30th of August. No venue fixed at time of printing.
U.14’s beat Cashel and Rockwell last week. Next match versus Cahir in Clonoulty on Wed 24th of August.
U12’s got walkover from Newport next match League semi-final on Sat 27th of Aug. No fixtures at time of printing.

Camogie 15th Nov 2015

The camogie A.G.M. was held on Friday night. It got a great turn out and thanks to all who attended. All officers remain the same for the following year. Chairperson: Laurence Loughman, Secretary: Joan Ryan, Assistant Secretary: Siobhan Murphy and Treasurer: Anita O’ Donoghue, Team Mentors to be confirmed. Thanks to all for their commitment to the camogie club.

Camogie News 4th of October 2015

U14’s had a great win in the Ragg on Saturday. They beat Toomevara in a County Semi-final by one goal, final score 3:4 to 2:4. They are now through to a County Final versus Silvermines on Saturday 10th of October in the Ragg at 11:00am. Best of luck to Neil and the girls!

Camogie News 27th of September

Seniors were narrowly beaten on Saturday. This concludes their campaign for this year. Thanks to the players for their commitment to the team. Thanks to the mentors Lenny Fitzgerald, Andrew Fryday and Bernie Ryan for their generous encouragement and dedication.
U14’s: Cashel gave the girls a walkover last weekend. The U14’s are now through to a County Semi-final which will be played on Sunday 4th of Oct in the Ragg, time and opponents unknown at time of printing.
Thanks to all who contributed to the church gate collection last weekend. Finally the Camogie club would like to wish Cait Devane a speedy recovery.

Camogie 20th Sept

Seniors: The girls lost to Moneygall at the weekend, next match versus Drom in Drom on Sat 26th at 4pm.
Juniors were beaten by Roscrea in a semi- final at the weekend; this brings an end to this year’s campaign. Thanks to the players and mentors, Seamus Hennessy and Danny Murphy, for their commitment and dedication to the team.
U14’s had a convincing win against Cashel at the weekend. Next match versus Cashel on Sun 27th of Sept in Cashel, time to be confirmed.

Camogie 13th of Sept

Seniors and Juniors: Thanks to both teams who travelled to Kilmacud Crokes on Saturday. The Seniors very unlucky as they were narrowly beaten by only one point in the final. Congratulations to Cait Devane who was named player of the tournament.
Seniors next match versus Moneygall on Sat 19th of Sept in Clonoulty at 5pm.
Juniors will play Roscrea in a County Junior Semi-final in the Ragg on Sun 20th of Sept at 11am.
Well done to Dervla Heffernan, Sinead Ryan and Kelly Quirke who played for their county in an All Ireland U14 camogie Blitz on Saturday. Unfortunately the Tipperary girls were beaten.
U14’s to play Cashel this weekend, time and date to be confirmed.
Finally congratulations to the Clonoulty girls who won an U16 County Football Final with Boherlahan on Sunday.

Camogie News 6th of Sept

Senior and Junior girls are travelling to Kilmacud Crokes next Saturday the 12th of Sept to play in the Crokes tournament. Best of luck to both teams.
U12’s were beaten by Thurles on Tuesday evening. Many thanks to mentors Ann and Kenny for their time, dedication and encouragement.
